STUDENTS ARE WORTH A MILLION
Step up in ‘08
Matching Campaign Challenge
Invest in the Future – Your Help is Needed Now
Widespread community support enabled the Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) to reach its 2007 goal of growing its endowment fund to $1 million dollars.
CEF is launching a second phase of public fundraising for the Endowment Fund. Every contribution received during this challenge campaign will be matched dollar for dollar. Our goal is to reach $2 million by the end of 2008, at which time we will begin releasing much needed funds to all our public schools on a regular and sustained basis.

The entire Cabrillo Education Foundation Board of Directors, TouchPoint Foundation, Christine and Lenny Mendonca of the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, Patti and Jay Warshauer of Main Street Goldworks and our most generous anonymous donors have pledged over $250,000.00, with more pledges being made daily, to our Students are worth a million, Step up in ‘08 matching campaign challenge. |
Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) is led by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of corporate and community leaders who donate their time and talent to helping fund the quality education these students deserve. Since its inception the Foundation has distributed $670,000 donated dollars directly into the classrooms, funding the needs of our students and their teachers. In carrying out its mission, the Cabrillo Education Foundation is committed to enriching educational excellence in our local public schools through fundraising and community outreach.
Through your generous support the Cabrillo Education Foundation has become a vehicle of empowerment for our students, teachers, public schools and our community. We invite you to explore our web site to learn more about the Cabrillo Education Foundation and how you might become involved.
