CEF Endowment Allocation Themes

Now that the Endowment Fund has exceeded the original $2M goal and is continuing to grow larger, each year going forward, an amount no less than 4% and no greater than 10% (based on proceeds during the year) will be distributed based on the Endowment Allocation Themes.

Teachers: Teacher Collaboration, Planning Time, Professional Development

Science: Labs, Coastal Ecosystems, Agriculture

Reinforcing Academics: Math, Language Skills, Social Studies, Reading Assessments

Enrichment: Art, Music, Drama, Field trips, Foreign language, Electives, Cross curricular offerings

Technology: Curricular enhancements, assessments, iPads in the classroom.

Launching Community Technology Committee to design pilots that make best use of integrated technology in the classrooms.

Paths to the Future: Vocational classes, Support for college readiness

Whole Child: Health, Nutrition, Emotional, Physical, Wellness, Community Involvement
