NOW MORE THAN EVER – Please support Cetrella’s Dining for a Difference Program. Now through May 31st, 10% of each patron’s check can be donated to the Cabrillo Education Foundation. All donations received from Cetrella’s Dining for a Difference program will go to our Immediate Use Fund. These dollars will be distributed this year directly to all local schools based on student population. Please visit Cetrella.com for complete details of this program. The Cabrillo Education Foundation raises funds to help bridge the financial gap between what is needed for our students and current levels of public funding. In 2006 we distributed $196,000 directly to our schools.
The Foundation is also focusing efforts on continuing to grow our endowment fund. We are pleased to report thatthe fund is fast approaching $1 million. Our goal is to reach $2 million by the end of 2008, at which time we will begin releasing much needed funds to all our public schools on a regular and sustained basis.

Cabrillo Education Foundation (CEF) is led by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of corporate and community leaders who donate their time and talent to helping fund the quality education these students deserve. Since its inception the Foundation has distributed $670,000 donated dollars directly into the classrooms, funding the needs of our students and their teachers. In carrying out its mission, the Cabrillo Education Foundation raises funds and directs financing to support academic programs at all levels of the performance spectrum, providing targeted opportunities to enable students to excel and achieve differentiated academic performance.
